Burnside Highland dress has been trading out of the Cow Wynd in Falkirk since the early 1980's. The buildings history however goes back much further and been around since the 1920's. In its past the building has housed various businesses, such as Government insurance business, a post office and most notably a Bus depot!

A small, humble family business started (from our research around 25 years ago in the early 80s) by Constance and John; A Kilt maker and pipe band major respectively. Back then Burnside was the only "kilt" shop in Falkirk.

How times have changed, and the world of business has moved on.. Competition is much stronger now with many similar businesses in the immediate local area offering "Kilt Hire" and "sales".

But Burnside remaines! Specialists in bespoke highland outfits (without the aloof price tags!) Plain speaking, Honest, upfront pricing and service you will be hard pushed to beat.
